Your hosts in this little cottage are a Dutch family in a homely setting in Keeken near Kleve just over the border from Holland in Germany.

Nature

Farmhouse “Fristerhof” is a lovely cottage situated in the peaceful and rustic surroundings of the nature reserve “Duffelt” near the Millingerwaard. Other local towns and cities are: Kleve (Cleaves), Kranenburg, Millingen and Nijmegen. Close at hand are Groesbeek, Mokerhei, Ooijpolder. One can reach the small characteristic villages Gendt, Doornenburg and Schenkenschanz by crossing the Rhein with a ferry boat. The local surroundings are especially suitable for boat, hiking and cycle trips. Trips to the Millingerwaard, the Rhein valley, the “Reichswald” or the cities of Kleve, Arnhem, Nijmegen are worthwhile.
